Crispy Air Fryer Jollibee Style Chicken

Ingredients
- 8 pieces of Chicken (Thighs or Drumsticks)
- 1 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Cornstarch (The secret for extra crunch!)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp Ginger Powder
- Salt and Black Pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup Water + 1 Egg (for the batter)
- Oil Spray
Instructions
- The Brine: For maximum juiciness, soak chicken in salt water for 30 mins before starting. Pat dry.
- The Batter: Mix 1/2 cup flour, water, and egg into a thick paste. Dip each chicken piece to coat.
- The Coating: Dredge the battered chicken in the remaining flour, cornstarch, and spices. Press firmly to ensure a thick crust.
- Air Fry: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Spray the basket and the chicken generously with oil.
- Cook: Air fry for 12 mins, flip, spray again, and cook for another 12-15 mins until internal temp reaches 165°F.
